Spray Tan Questions
How should I prepare for my spray tan?
For the best results, exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment and shave beforehand if needed. Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils, perfume, and makeup. Avoid applying skincare products or moisturizers immediately before your appointment.
What should I wear to my spray tan appointment?
Wear loose, dark clothing and open-toed sandals if possible. Tight clothing, bras, socks, and shoes can rub against your fresh tan and cause uneven results.
How long will my spray tan last?
A spray tan typically lasts around 7-10 days, depending on your skin type, preparation, and aftercare routine. Proper moisturizing and avoiding excessive exfoliation can help extend the life of your tan.
Can I shower after my spray tan?
Yes! However, you must wait until your recommended rinse time. Your first rinse is typically a quick, lukewarm-water shower without soap, scrubbing, or exfoliating.
How do I care for my spray tan afterward?
After your initial rinse, moisturize your skin daily, stay hydrated, and avoid harsh exfoliants or mineral oil-based products that may cause your tan to fade faster. Pat your skin dry instead of rubbing it with a towel.
Lash Extension Questions
How often do I need to wash my lashes, and why is it necessary?
Your lash extensions should be gently cleansed and dried every night before bed. Daily cleansing removes oils, makeup, sweat, skin cells, and other buildup from your lashes and lash line. Keeping your lash extensions clean helps maintain a healthy lash line, supports better retention, and keeps your lash extensions looking fresh and beautiful. I also offer a Lash Extension Aftercare Kit with everything you need for your nightly routine: A lash shampoo, cleansing brush, and a rechargeable mini fan to help you gently cleanse and dry your lashes at home.
How much lash extension retention is considered a fill?
To book a fill, you must have at least 40% of your lash extensions remaining. If you have less than 40% remaining, your appointment will need to be booked as a full set so your lashes can be properly styled and rebalanced.
What should I avoid doing to make my lash extensions last?
Avoid rubbing, picking, pulling, or tugging on your lash extensions. Avoid oil-based products around the eyes, excessive heat or steam, sleeping directly on your lashes, and using mascara. Most importantly, do not skip cleansing. Clean lashes create better retention and a healthier lash line.
